We can still take additional people into club.
I know Roesner called someone and possibly the guy from Little Falls if still interested could fill non-boaters holes. Otherwise when it gets closer to tourney, boaters will match up.
We heard that Lake Edward might be impossible to get boats into even though they just dug it out. We voted that Sylvan Lake will be the alternate lake.
We didn't decide on trophies, some wanted 4 per tourney and some wanted 2 per tourney.

Minutes 2/1/09 Meeting
State tournament is up in Grand Rapids on Lake Pokegama. The take off site will be Zorbaz. There isn't a landing at Zorbaz so boats will need to put in at other locations. There is notice that boats will be strictly checked going in the lake and coming out for invasive species. Bass Lake is designated as the alternate lake for the state tournament.
Next state meeting, which is March 7th, we'll be voting to increase the insurance liability of everyone's boat from $100,000 to $300,000. Also brought up by Scott Roesner is to make sure you have separate rider insurance, to cover electronics and other equipment on/in the boat.
Proposed state tournament format for the future. Anglers will go to a one-day regional tournament, which would be held Friday before the state tournament. The top 12 anglers from each regional tournament would then make the state tournament, which would be a one-day tourney.
An increase in our club dues was also mentioned. Trophies and plaques for last year totaled almost $900.00, permits $120.00, miscellaneous admin expenses $50. State federation is $50 each. When we send a team to State we also cover National dues of $20 each normally just for those going. It was tabled and will be brought up in our next meeting.
Next meeting Lakes and dates will be established. It seems like we have a general consensus to fish Pokegama possibly a 2-day tournament to help for the members attending the state tournament.
Next meeting is March 15th at Noon, again at Bada Bings.
