Dues

To belong to the club you must pay dues, to the Brainerd Lakes Bassmaster Club, the MN Bass Federation and have a BASS (National) subscription. This gets you the Bassmaster Magazine and also your BASS registation number to send into the MN Federation for insurance purposes.


The MN Bass Federation also has benefits to our anglers. These include things like:

Eligibility to compete in B.A.S.S Federation Divisional Tournament, and National Championship for cash awards and five BASS Masters Classic berths.

Meeting Mintues

Febuary 26th Meeting Minutes--Matty's 1:00pm



7 old members and 1 new member present.



Scott Robin talked about what went on at the last State Federation meeting.

• Federation charging $35 dollars for fishing the TOC, talked about, nothing voted on.
• March 3rd meeting/banquet in Minneapolis, sounds like no one was going to attend.
• MN Bass Expo April 21-22 at the Blaine Convention center, wanted volunteers to help run
• June 29th Junior TOC in St.Cloud area, looking for volunteers to drive your personal boat for them

Rick Hann was nominated as President by Rod, seconded by Jim.

Rod brought up an idea to have one of the lakes this year be lure specific, examples carolina rig, drop shot. Was shot down.

Went thru the calander to determine the available dates. Here is the proposed tournament dates, please go thru your calander to see if any need to be changed at the next meeting.

October 7th possible Clash date.

Everyone came up with lakes and we drew from a hat. Gull Lake, Mississippi River, Pelican, Mission.
Talked about doing a 2-day tourney like last year, but decided not to and pick a new lake that was farther away instead, which was Birch.

Next Meeting is March 28th 6:00pm at Matty's, this is a Wednesday.
Going to finalize schedule and do partner draw. Please attend if you want say on dates.
